Rules of the Holy Quran

465 - The Holy Quran always should be clean and Pak, and it is Haraam to make the lines and the paper of Holy Quran Najis and if it becomes Najis, it should be rinsed immediately.

466 - If the cover of the Holy Quran becomes Najis and is disrespected, the Holy Quran must be rinsed immediately.

Touching the lines of the Holy Quran

467 - It is haraam to touch the script of the Holy Quran with any part of one's body, without performing wudhu.

468 - In touching the script of the Holy Quran no difference exists between the verse, words, letters and even the accents of an Arabic words.

469 - It is no difference among the things on which the Holy Quran is written on such as paper, earth, walls or cloth.

470 - There is no difference in the script of the Holy Quran which is written by pen, chalk, published or other means.

471 - It is Haraam to touch the script of the Holy Quran even if it is not in a Quran, so if a verse of the Holy Quran is written in another book or any word is written on a paper or half of any word of the Holy Quran is cut or torn from the pages of the Holy Quran or other books, in these cases touching them without wudhu is still Haraam.

472 - Touching the script of the Holy Quran in these following cases is not Haraam:

* Touching from behind a glass, or plastic.

* Touching the paper, cover and the margin of scripts (although this is Makrooh)

* Touching the translation of the Holy Quran in any language except if it is the name of Allah which in any language touching without wudhu is Haraam.

473 - The words which are common in the Holy Quran and other books such as Momen if the writer has the Allazina, intention of it being the Holy Quran, when writing touching these without wudhu isHaraam.

474 - Touching of lines of the Holy Quran for a person who is in the state of Jonob is Haraam.

475 - The Jonob person should not read the surahs in the Holy Quran which require sajdah.
