1316. A person who wishes to pass through his hometown, before he reaches 8 Farsakh, or to stay at a place for 10 days, or if he is undecided about it, should offer complete prayers even if he later abandons the idea of passing through his hometown, or staying at a place for 10 days. However, if the remaining journey is of 8 Farsakh or adds up to 8 Farsakh on return, he should shorten his prayers.
