Rules of Friday prayer.

1576. A person who has followed a certain Friday prayer leader, may follow him for Asr prayer too. But, if he wishes to offer Zuhr prayer as a precaution, he must again offer Zuhr and Asr prayers individually after completion of moss prayer, except when the leader is also doing the same. And in this case, it is not necessary to repeat Asr prayer.

1577. If the Friday prayer leader and his followers wish to offer Zuhr prayer, as a precaution, offer Friday prayer, they may offer it in mass. But, a follower who has not participated in Friday prayer cannot follow this one and if he does, then it is not separate from Zuhr prayer for him and he must offer it again.

1578. If a follower who has reached to the Ruku of first Rak’at of Friday prayer leader, cannot accompany him because of crowd or some other reason, then if he can perform Sajdahs (after standing of leader for second Rak’at) and join leader before Ruku or during it, his Namaz is correct. Otherwise, he must remain in his position until leader reaches to Sajdahs of second Rak’at and then makes Niyyat for 2 Sajdahs of the first Rak’at and offers Namaz along with leader and then offers second Rak’at individually and it is in order.
But, if he performs them with Niyyat of Sajdahs of the second Rak’at or with Niyyat of following leader, then, as an obligatory precaution, he must forget two Sajdahs and perform 2 others with Niyyat of Sajdah of first Rak’at and then offers second Rak’at and offer completion of Namaz, offers Zuhr prayer.

1579. If a follower pronounces Takbir for purpose of joining Namaz in Ruku of second Rak’at and then performs Ruku, but he doubts whether he has observed Ruku of leader or not, his Friday prayer is not in order and, as an obligatory precaution, he must complete his Namaz with intention (Niyyat) of Zuhr prayer and then offer it again.

1582. If the followers are more than required number (4) for Friday prayer, then dispersing of some people out of them has absolutely no harm, provided that the remaining people are less than (4) persons.

1586. If Friday prayer is offered in one location, another one should not be performed in less than one Farsakh. And if two Friday prayer are offered with one Farsakh distance, both are in order. The distance of locations are determined according to exact place of offering Friday prayers, not the cities.

1587. As a recommendatory precaution, it must be made certain that another Friday prayer is not offered in less than set limit.

1588. If two Friday prayers are held in one time and in less than required distance (one Farsakh), they are both void. But if one of them has started already, even if only Takbiratul Ihram if offered, the other one is void, whether followers know that before or after them, another Friday prayer is performed in less than required distance or not. The criteria for priority are the Namaz itself and not the sermons. So, if one of them has reached sermons and the other has reached Namaz, the second one is in order and the first one is void.

1589. If there is certainty that another Friday prayer is offered in less than required distance (one Farsakh), but it is doubtful that Namaz is offered or not, or it is being offered at the same time, in both cases, they may offer Friday prayer. And the same applies if there is not certainty about offering of another Friday prayer.

1590. If it transpires after completion of Friday prayer that another Friday prayer was being offered in less than required distance and both groups guess that they have first started Friday prayer, it is not obligatory for any of them to repeat Friday and Zuhr prayers. Although there is some precaution for their repeating. If a third group wishes to offer Friday prayer in the same area, they must make sure that the other two prayers are void, and if they think one of them is possibly correct, they may not offer Friday prayer of their own.

1591. During the era of occultation of the Holy Imam Zaman (may Allah hasten his Holy appearance) that offering Friday prayer is a Takhiri obligation (as described before), buying and selling and other transactions are not Haraam after Adhan of Friday prayer.
